Description

　　Our team is seeking a Site Environmental Technician (SET) who will responsible for managing environmental compliance at Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) Facilities in Italy.

　　Key job responsibilities

　　• Manage and execute site responsibilities to comply with air emissions, surface water, wastewater, waste and other environmental related topics, ensuring compliance with applicable legal framework and internal standards and policies.

　　• Complete environmental inspections, tasks and provide guidance on site performance against applicable environmental regulations, programs and Amazon global standards. Show initiative to identify and implement corrective actions to eliminate any observed non-compliance or potential non-compliance situations.

　　• Ensure site leadership and employees' training.

　　• Lead site performance analysis, monitor metrics and provide weekly and monthly trends. Execute site environmental action plan development for any deficiencies noted from trends, audits and inspections.

　　• Support the REE/REM in evaluating and developing process improvements for identified risks and with facilitating root cause analyses for all environmental incidents and recommend appropriate corrective actions for network implementation.

　　Basic Qualifications

　　Fluent in Italian and English

　　Bachelor Degree in chemical or environmental engineering or related environmental field.

　　Knowledgeable of Italian regulations

　　Must be detailed minded and technically oriented to comfortably deep dive with engineering teams to understand operations process for environmental risk assessment.

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　Knowledge in adjacent legal areas (occupational and fire protection, energy law)

　　Preferably previously experienced environmental technician or environmental specialist.

　　Experience in warehouse operations and logistics is preferred

　　Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Excel ( use of pivot tables, development of charts and graphics)

　　Ability to manage multiple sites
