About Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager, Amazon Flex

  Description

  At Amazon we are building a world class last mile operation, significantly complimented by Amazon Flex. Amazon Flex works directly with independent contractors – called delivery partners – to make deliveries to our customers. With Amazon Flex, partners act as their own boss. They can build their own schedule and choose from different types of opportunities (scheduled-ahead blocks, instant offers), all while making great earnings. Amazon Flex is powered by a mobile app that works in concert with our advanced systems, allowing partners to sign in, grab an offer for a time, check out a map of the location, and more.

  We are seeking an Senior Acquisition Marketing Manager for Amazon Flex. In this role, you will own acquiring delivery partners, communicating with them, keeping them engaged in the program, and launching new features and products. You will own strategy, management, measurement, testing, and execution of Amazon Flex acquisition. You will work closely with business, management, the leadership team, and other stakeholders like Legal and PR within the business unit to ensure alignment to overall objectives.

  Key job responsibilities

  • Be responsible for delivery partner acquisition

  • Manage all acquisition channels including external agency’s execution

  • Develop the marketing materials, creatives for acquisition campaigns

  • Ensure a best in class onboarding experience, improving the conversion of candidates through the onboarding lifecycle

  • Maintain and refine scalable, repeatable and comparable methods of measurement and performance tracking for campaigns

  • Earn trust from internal and external partners, manage multiple projects, and balancing contending priorities in a rapidly changing environment

  • Conduct weekly data analysis to identify forward looking capacity risks. Identify gaps in driver capacity and work with stakeholders to address proactively

  • Work with regional and global teams to improve the onboarding funnel and share best practices to contribute other market’s growth

  Basic Qualifications

  Bachelor’s Degree

  6+ years of experience in marketing

  2+ years of experience in acquisition marketing in relevant industries

  2+ years of experience in agency management

  Basic understanding of SQL

  Business level of English and Japanese (written & verbal)

  Preferred Qualifications

  Solid quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills; comfortable with data analysis and able to use data to make recommendations and drive decisions

  Proven track record of creating and executing marketing campaigns using tactics that includes digital advertising, lead nurture programs, live events, webinars, and social media

  Strong team player and leader with the ability to influence, work cross functionally, build relationships with key stakeholders and thrive highly collaborative fast paced environment

  Comfortable with ambiguity, set vision; able to establish marketing direction and vision across the entire organization

  Outstanding communications skills, written and verbal

  Ability to work independently and autonomously

  Expertise in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and has great attention to detail

  Not afraid to try new things; driven to constantly improve results

  Excited about working in a diverse group and contributing to an inclusive culture
