　　The Shipping Assistant I that supports our SDC business has responsibility for supporting the Shipping team in their daily functions. This includes general such resupplying shipping stations and maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouse.

　　Key Job Responsibilities:

　　* Model personal Lean Philosophy 5S behaviors in creating a continuously improving, clean, well-organized and self-maintaining work environment. Work closely with team members and others to motivate and improve 5S knowledge and implementation.

　　* Follow a continuous improvement approach for team accountability for achieving high performance SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, & Morale) targets through a visual work environment.

　　* Comply with company ethics, code of conduct, policies, and best practices, with a commitment to safety in the workplace, valuing of diversity, and promotion of a harassment-free environment.

　　* Restocking shipping benches and monitoring the inventory level of packaging material.

　　* Keeping the warehouse and shipping benches in a state of cleanliness.

　　* Operating a forklift (training will be provided).

　　* Perform other duties as assigned by management.

　　Qualifications/Education:

　　* High School Diploma or GED

　　* One or more years' experience in a manufacturing shipping and receiving environment

　　* Advanced knowledge and skill with Microsoft Office

　　programs

　　* Effective communication and typing skills

　　* Ability to work in a team environment

　　* Ability to focus on continuous improvement

　　* Ability to take initiative and leadership on projects and tasks

　　* Ability to meet timelines

　　* Any equivalent combination of education and experience

　　Compensation/Benefits:

　　The company offers a comprehensive benefits package and compensation for this position. The package includes base salary, bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k/Match.

　　Salary for this position is $19/hr.
