　　Legrand has an exciting opportunity for aShipper Ito join theLighting Sector Finelite Teamin Union City, CA. The Shipping I is responsible for ensuring Finelite products are shipped according to company quality, procedural and safety practices. This is a key step in delivering a high quality product to our customers according to the promised delivery date. The work schedule adjusts according to the Production schedule with frequent changes, overtime and evening/weekend hours.

　　What Will You Do?

　　Lift and package Finelite fixtures according to standard practices: prepare pallets for final shipment including shrink-wrapping and strapping using a mechanical strapping device with proper labeling.

　　Lift and load packaged fixtures into shipping cartons or pallets.

　　Lift and load wrapped cartons or pallets into trucks for shipment.

　　Safe, daily usage and operation of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, stretch wrap and tape dispensers.

　　Ensure accuracy of all inbound and outbound shipments.

　　Ability to reconcile inbound and outbound shipment discrepancies.

　　Daily warehouse organization and clean up.

　　Ensure all work procedures and safety regulations are followed.

　　Communicate in person and via email within and outside the Logistics Department, including outside.

　　Qualifications

　　Required Skills

　　High school diploma plus 1 year warehouse shipping and receiving experience; college a plus.

　　Clean and valid California drivers license, Class C.

　　Proven experience and ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as sit down and stand up forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks and stretch wrap/tape dispensers, RF Scanners, etc.

　　Posses valid forklift safety certification.

　　Ability to handle the physical demands of the position; standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, extended work hours, and work in a non-climate controlled warehouse.

　　Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

　　Must display high level of attention to detail.

　　Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

　　Previous experience communicating within the company and with outside groups via email.
