　　Bahnson Mechanical Systems is seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Mechanic that will fabricate, layout and install sheet metal components on a construction project site in SC, NC, or GA.

　　Shift: 1st

　　Schedule: Mon-Thu, some Friday or weekend work possible

　　Weekly Travel: This position works on projects in SC, NC, and GA and travel is required. Employees are home most weekends.

　　Key Duties:

　　Layout sheet metal components (Duct, Hangers, etc)

　　Measure and mark dimensions for field installation

　　Drill holes for screws, bolts or rivets

　　Install sheet metal with supportive framework

　　Field fabricate or alter parts to meet site requirements

　　Sketch duct fittings

　　Maneuver and anchor large sheet metal ducts and parts

　　Fasten joints of duct together for a complete heating cooling and ventilation system

　　Be responsible to enforcing safety rules

　　Travel to projects as needed

　　Other duties may be assigned as needed

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　2+ years of HVAC Sheet metal fabrication and installation experience

　　OSHA 10 Certifications desired

　　Knowledge of the construction industry and documentation.

　　Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines.

　　Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.

　　Valid drivers license with insurable driving record

　　Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
