Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Utility Worker at our aerospace manufacturing facility in the Fullerton, CA.

　　Performs manual and mechanical tasks and assists skilled and semi-skilled workers in duties requiring heavy physical exertion. Performs housekeeping, material handling and other general labor duties. Utility workers are held to established production and quality standards and has little control to make adjustments to the processes or machines after tasks are assigned.

　　Sweeps, sorts and disposes of trash, supplies and other materials. May be assigned overall housekeeping duties for selected areas.

　　Maintain scrap area, empty scrap bins in appropriate containers and coordinate pick up with recycler

　　Performs related tasks in department or departments to which assigned such as, minor repair work, cleaning maintaining and changing of filters and replacing cooling and lubrication fluids.

　　Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion.

　　Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required.

　　Qualifications:

　　High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

　　Janitorial experience and a good mechanical aptitude.

　　Must be proficient with the use of basic hand tools and able to understand the use and disposal of machine oils, coolants and lubricants.

　　Must be able to operate mobile equipment

　　Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

　　This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.
