Shift: Weekends, Thursday-Sunday.
Compensation: $29.41/ hour
Sign-on bonus : $1,500
A Typical Work Day May Include:
Inspecting the various shafts (steam, air, and production) to ensure the conditions of the guides and timbers are safe for normal operations
Preform both preventative maintenance as well as repairs to the structures making up the shaft as identified. This will include, but not limited to, removal and replacement of braces, guides, clips, timbers, brackets, skip wheels, etc as needed
Preform preventative maintenance on the skip including washing out salt deposits inspecting and changing out bolts, greasing fittings, and hoist cables
Washing out and inspecting/ preventative maintenance on man cages
Inspect/ test safety dogs and make repairs as necessary to ensure safe operations
Wash out and inspect 1,000 foot rescue platform to ensure proper maintenance
Assist with changing out hoist cables as directed
Provide assistance to the Mechanics as directed and time allows. Also, provide assistance to the Maintenance Support personnel in operate heavy surface equipment (man lifts, grade alls, fork lifts, etc) as time allows to assist with relocating of heavy equipment, load or unload trucks, etc

What You Will Need:
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Basic computer skills
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
Ability and willingness to work underground in a mining environment
What Will Put You Ahead:
Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician (CMRT) or willing to acquire certification
Predictive Maintenance and/or Precision Maintenance Certifications
High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
Experience troubleshooting and maintaining various components and systems such as but not limited to packaging equipment, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, belt or roller conveyors, pumps, gear reducers, or bearings
Previous shaft experience
Minimum of one year experience with maintenance trades in an industrial environment
