　　This is a pipeline requisition for future openings.

　　Work with cutting-edge applications that help advance the mission as a Test Engineer at GDIT. Your work will have you fully immersed in our client’s domain in order to deliver simple solutions for their complex needs. At GDIT, you’ll prioritize the client while we prioritize your career.

As a Test Engineer supporting Federal contracts in the Technology Shared Services (TSS) group , you will be trusted to evaluate and support development of software, web, telephony, and virtual agent applications. This role will be r emote in Louisiana. Must be a Louisiana resident or willing to become a resident within 60 days of hire, and work remotely from Louisiana.

　　HOW THE TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

　　Participate in Agile software development initiatives (standup, planning, grooming, estimation) to support innovation and enhancement of applications through iteration/functionality testing

　　Bachelor's or four years relevant experience

　　Participate and collaborate with team members to assess Story Point / complexity efforts (using best practices) to ensure proper testing and delivery of functionality per User Story Acceptance Criteria

　　Collaborate with team members (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Software Developers) to develop test approaches with emphasis on automation of recurring/regression test cases through selected toolsets,

　　Develop and document end-to-end functionality test case narratives using task management system (ServiceNow Test Management /JIRA)

　　Provide early exploratory testing during the development phase

　　Design, code and deploy automated test scripts

　　Maintain test documentation, provide support to government test organization, evaluate test results, and provide feedback in a Continuous Integration Continuous Delivery Pipeline.

　　​WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

　　BA/BS (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience or equivalent years of experience

　　ServiceNow application testing experience is a must

　　Proficient in the different software testing methodologies

　　Conceptual knowledge on agile integration. Working as part of an agile team utilizing Scrum or Kanban

　　Knowledge of various SDLC methodologies

　　Ability to test application developed with commercial-off-the-shelf products

　　Ability to interact effectively with customers and stakeholders

　　Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.

　　Ability to manage multiple task assignments.

　　Ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment.

　　Self-motivated, quick learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

　　Team player who works well with customers and colleagues at all levels.

　　PREFFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　2+ with Java / C#, JavaScript or equivalent Programming Language

　　Automation Testing Tools (such as Automated Test Frame (ATF), Selenium WebDriver) experience
