As part of increasing our VES capability at OTT HydroMet, we are opening the position of Process Improvement LEader ( VES Leader, Finance) based in Delft, Netherlands.
The VES/ Process Improvement Leader, Finance will lead VES driven improvement initiatives within Finance and partner with other functional leaders and VES practitioners across the organization. The candidate will facilitate high-priority kaizen events and problem solving projects (PSP’s), support the development and roll-out of Daily Visual Management reporting (DVM’s), and lead standardization and documentation (Standard Work) across the finance organization to drive positive change, break down silos, and improve quality of the finance function.
In addition, the Process Improvement /VES Leader Finance will be key member of ERP Project Management Office leading the migration onto one single ERP platform which will build change management capability across the finance team and enable our cultural transformation into One OTT HydroMet.
Key Responsibilities:
You identify improvement opportunities, develop project charters and execute VES Kaizen events within finance and collaborate with other functions to ensure a successful outcome.
You develop and deliver new daily visual management structures for Finance and work closely with team leads to drive acceptance and sustainment
You improve and implement standard work and lead roll-out within agreed timeliness.
You support the ERP Project manager with key PMO activities including maintaining the ERP project dashboard and running the monthly Steering committee meetings.
You lead annual finance & compliance trainings for Finance and support the development and coordination of ERP training material to end-2end users.
You coordinate ERP test scenarios in alignment with the project manager, solution provider and ERP team in accordance with the project plan.
Your Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field
Experience in Kaizen or Lean methodology incl. techniques to improve processes, enhance performance, and standardize operating procedures
Ability to work in a global, multicultural and high-performance environment with multiple stakeholders in a collaborative manner
Experience with VES or a similar business improvement system preferred
Project Management experience preferred, ideally in a Finance and/or IT environment
Digital-savvy, proficient in Microsoft office tools, SharePoint and ERP software with ability to learn new tools & technologies as needed.
