This position is in Christiansburg, VA. Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

What will you be doing?

Provides support to the company’s customers.

Documents service and support cases with a high degree of detail.

Prioritizes incoming service and support requests.

Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

Be competent to perform tasks that may impact on health and safety in the workplace.

Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Required SkillsRequired Experience

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for this opportunity:

High School diploma with 0-2 years related experience.

CompTIA A+ certified or ability to achieve within the first 6 months of employment.

The following may be used to differentiate candidates who apply for this position:

General PC hardware and software knowledge.

Ability to troubleshoot PC and peripheral products at system level.

General knowledge of Microsoft operating systems, Office Suite, etc.

Excellent attention to detail.

Be familiar with the company’s safety and health policy and program

Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $17.00 - $22.12 per hour, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
