JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Job Purpose: Under the direction of theService Manager, the Service Advisor is responsible for serving as aliaison between the customer and technicians - which involves schedulingrepairs, assigning work to technicians, preparing repair orders, billingrepair orders, entering work orders into computer system, ordering shopsupplies according to procedures and consulting with insurancecompanies. Pay: \$55,000 to \$75,000 based on experience Shift: Monday -Friday - 3:00 p.m. to Midnight Shift Differential: There is a a\$5,000.00/yr. (\$192.31, bi-weekly) 2nd shift differential, paidbi-weekly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Process all shoprepair orders by scheduling & assigning work to shop Associates.Document and diagnose necessary repairs by taking photographs. Provideeffective communication to customers regarding their job orders bypreparing estimates for repair work and parts; monitor job schedules toensure timeliness of repairs and job pricing. Work closely withcustomers and insurance companies to obtain necessary authorization anddocumentation relating to repair work. Complete invoicing and collectingprocedures in a timely manner. Maintain inventory of parts, paint andmaterials necessary for repair functions. All other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Three (3)years of related automotive repair facility or heavy-duty truckexperience preferred. Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows.Must possess demonstrated skills in computer-generated business systems.Valid driver\'s license required; CDL required, or ability to obtain.Dependable and reliable attendance required.
