The Community Action Agency Weatherization Program is currently accepting applications for the following position:
Full-time Project Manager in Escanaba. Hours are generally scheduled between 8:00 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. No weekends or holidays.
Under the general direction of the Weatherization Director, the Project Manager ensures compliance with all conditions regarding the funding source definition of a completed home. They are responsible for assisting in maintaining files and other necessary activities to ensure the smooth operation of the program. The Project Manager supervises contracted Energy Auditors/Quality Control Inspectors to complete audits according to program guidance.
Candidates must have a high school diploma/GED and a minimum of one year of experience in building construction. Must be or become a state certified Energy Auditor or BPI Certified Energy Auditor/QCI within 1 year of employment.
We are looking for applicants with strong verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate will be computer literate and able to use Microsoft products and email, and learn database systems. Certification for EPA Lead, Indoor Air Quality, Lead Safe Work Practices and OSHA 10 preferred.
Entry wage is $16.92 - $25.00 depending on education and experience.
