To be a Summer Day Camp Counselor,and make a difference in these children\'s lives, apply today! TheSummer Day Camp Counselor works directly with children and organizes,prepares, and leads general activities such as arts and crafts, sports,educational, and other age-appropriate activities. They are directlyresponsible for the safety and well-being of a small group of childrenaged 3-14 by ensuring appropriate behavior and that the group is in theproper location at all times. About the role: Organize, prepare, andlead age-appropriate activities for children ages 3-14 such as arts andcrafts, sports, educational activities, and games. Ensure campers meetbehavioral expectations and positively intervene when necessary.Participate in physical and other activities with children. Maintainorder by enforcing rules relating to conduct and use of equipment andfacilities. Maintain Safe From Harm policies and reporting procedures.Clean and maintain program areas, and any other building, facility, orarea used for Day Camp. Attend trainings and weekly staff meetings asrequired. Education: High school diploma or equivalent is desired.General knowledge of games and activities appropriate to the 3-14 yearold age group. Experience: Previous work experience working withchildren, especially in a day camp setting, is preferred.Certifications: Valid Wisconsin Driver\'s License with clearance todrive from TSA insurance.
