The Taxable Fixed Income Senior Trader purchases and sells Fixed Income securities in the name of and on behalf of clients. While working independently with limited supervision, this job also receives and executes orders for the purchase and sale on the electronic execution venues and the Over-the-Counter (OTC) market.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Executes and develops sales trades on Trades Fixed Income products.

Maintains and increases trading with existing accounts and proactively prospects new trading clients.

Identifies opportunities to improve on investment returns with existing and new customers.

Monitors market movements and trading environment.

Controls trading costs.

Engages in broker-to-client communications, business development and relationship management.

Ensures that all trading processes and documents comply with standard policies and requirements.

Coaches and reviews the work of junior team members.

Base Pay Range: $131,300/yr. - $190,000/yr.

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
