Senior Technical Services Specialist will support the technical services department within the GMP certification audit space, and promote continual improvement and operational excellence.
• Provides technical services to clients directly and/or through coordination with internal teams and ensures Technical Program/Project Requirements are clearly scoped, documented, communicated, and updated throughout the organization.
• Collaborates with Commercial and Operations teams to support the technical needs of specific clients or product categories.
• Prepares SOPs, work instructions for the technical services department
• Leads the development and continuous improvement of departmental processes, procedures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and coaches and/or trains others to improve general team performance.
• Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct, and follow all physical and digital security practices.
• Performs one audit a month to test new tools or programs, train auditors or evaluate audit tools
• Perform technical reviews and certification decisions to support the technical services department.
• Performs other duties as directed.

University Degree (equivalent to a Bachelors degree) from an accredited program in related field, generally plus six years related work experience.
Strong technical understanding of the applicable industry codes (CFR 210 & 211, CFR 111, etc.) regulations, standards, service/product lines and target markets; demonstrated history of strong technical judgment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English required, proficiency in a secondary/multiple language(s) a plus.
Demonstrated ability to support customer meetings, negotiate and influence outcomes.
Ability to collaborate with team members and stake holders and manage complex projects.
Ability to identify and manage priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
Ability to work virtually, in a multicultural, global environment.

Total Rewards: The salary range for this position is $79,000 minimum budgeted by team - $100,000 midpoint of the salary range and is based upon years of experience that is commensurate with the level of the position. All employees at UL Solutions are eligible for annual bonus compensation. The target for this position is 20% of the base salary offered. Employees are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental & financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country, for the relevant position level. We also provide employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
