About the role

　　We’ve got someone in the team going on parental leave, so we’re on the hunt for someone to join us in a 12-month contract role. You will be the key tax business partner for our APAC region and will play an essential role to support our tax team and help us maintain robust tax compliance, effective tax risk management and a sound global tax strategy.

　　Provide tax advice to the business in relation to a diverse range of transactions and projects

　　Prepare Australian tax returns, including income tax returns, Business Activity Statements and Fringe Benefits Tax returns

　　Assist with managing relationships with tax authorities, including the resolution of enquiries, reviews and audits

　　Lead global tax projects, including the country-by-country reporting process, across APAC, Europe and US regions

　　Work with our external tax provider to deliver New Zealand and Asia tax compliance obligations

　　About you

　　We’re searching for someone who is as passionate about corporate tax as we are about wine (hopefully you’ll be both!) Whilst the role will be supporting all aspects of tax, we’re focusing on candidates who have a solid background in Australian corporate tax (we can teach you the rest of it – indirect, FBT, WET international tax etc.)

　　CA qualified with corporate tax experience from Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firms

　　Confident in tax effect accounting and strong tax technical knowledge

　　Ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders along with a willingness to learn

　　Strong critical thinking and analytical skills – able to join the dots

　　Able to deliver in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, ensuring that strict deadlines are met

　　Willingness and ability to accept responsibility and take a leadership role
