About IT Support Technician

As an experienced IT Support Technician you will have the ability to share new ideas and collaborate on projects as a consultant without the extensive demands of travel.   Work you'll do/Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1-2 incident response, problem resolution, and fulfillment of service requests.,

  • The Senior Deskside Support Technician will favor complex problems and advanced support scenarios.

  Respond to support tickets and service requests in a timely and efficient manner, providing effective solutions.

  Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions with end users. Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.

  Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop hardware, software, and peripherals for end-users.

  Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of desktop systems with the overall IT infrastructure.

  Familiarity with network connectivity and basic understanding of IT infrastructure components.

  Hands-on experience with Windows operating systems. Basic understanding of using active directory, DNS & DHCP.

  Knowledge of MS Office 365 and outlook troubleshooting of 2019, 2016, 2013 etc.

  Knowledge of M365 Apps.

  Create technical documentation and manuals, Document technical issues and solutions in ticket logs.

  • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management

  The Team

  Our operate services within CTO include:

  • Foundry Services: Operate services providing flexible, recurring resource capacity for client initiatives, projects, tasks, and enhancement

  • Managed Services: Operate services that provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and optimization for IT/Engineering applications & products

  Qualifications

  Required

  Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience

  1 years of work history working in a deskside capacity with daily face-to-face end-user interface.

  Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

  Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

  Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

  Preferred

  IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, ITIL, Microsoft) or must be able to retain certification once employed

  Analytical/ Decision Making Responsibilities

  Analytical ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks into manageable work products

  Can operate independently or with minimum supervision

  Excellent Written and Communication Skills

  For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to New York, and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $48,000-$72,000.
