　　The Senior Systems Engineer is responsible for effective design, implementation, operation, and maintenance and troubleshooting of the IT infrastructure. This includes server administration, virtualization, performance tuning, backup and restore. This individual ensures that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values.

　　Location: Rehovot, Israel (hybrid)

　　Administration

　　Manage global virtual server infrastructure residing on hyper-converged Nutanix platforms running VMWare & Nutanix AHV.

　　Administer Office365 email & collaboration platform including but not limited to Azure AD, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams & cloud storage.

　　Management of global backup infrastructure ensuring reliable, accountable, and secure backups.

　　Architect, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure solutions based on project requirements. Administer and troubleshoot AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda and others.

　　Manage two tier Microsoft PKI infrastructure

　　Maintain & optimize disaster recovery implementations including validating protected systems, validating documentation and periodic testing (live & simulated) in collaboration with business stakeholders.

　　Support

　　Analyze, diagnose and determine root cause of issues, test, communicate, and either resolve or escalate for resolution appropriately.

　　Ensure timely notification of maintenance activities and impacts on system availability.

　　Leverage SolarWinds monitoring platform to monitoring and mitigate alerts identified to ensure the integrity and availability proactively responding to hardware, communication, and networking problems prior to service disruptions

　　Install, configure, and maintain servers and other business systems.

　　Upgrade and configure system software that supports IT infrastructure applications or Asset Management applications per project or operational needs.

　　Infrastructure Security

　　Collaborate with the Enterprise Security team to mitigate vulnerabilities identified via scanning platforms searching for known vulnerabilities not secured via patches or updates.

　　Troubleshoot and resolve missing patches and updates not applied by automated patching systems.

　　Participate in security incidents requiring immediate action to prevent loss, destruction or theft of confidential and intellectual property assets.

　　Proactively evaluate security notifications issued by HW/SW vendors, configured security systems and CISA notifications and coordinate the appropriate mitigation tasks

　　MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

　　Bachelor's Degree, technical certifications and/or related experience.

　　Minimum 5-7 years in an engineering & operations environment managing large infrastructure implementations including: Microsoft Active Directory, Office365 Email & Collaboration Suite, Virtualized Infrastructure (on-prem & cloud), Backup technologies, Microsoft Certificate Services

　　Knowledge & experience in CI\CD methodologies

　　Advanced technological skills, analytical skills, and trouble-shooting abilities.

　　Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.

　　Advanced understanding of interoperability of computer and/or network security systems and applications.

　　Fluent in English (high-level communication abilities required)

　　Experience with Public Cloud administration and support (MS Azure, AWS & GCP)

　　DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

　　Advancing knowledge of backup methodologies and management. (Veeam preferred)

　　Advancing knowledge of scripting (PowerShell, Python)

　　Advancing knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMWare preferred, AHV desirable)

　　Experience with hyper-converged technologies & concepts (Nutanix preferred)

　　Working knowledge of Linux administration and support (RedHat & CentOS preferred)

　　Working knowledge of Oracle running on a Linux platform (RedHat & CentOS preferred)

　　Working knowledge of CICD methodologies and tools (Octopus / Team City preferred)
