Our clients need flexible data structures and a streamlined data architecture that quickly turns data resources into informative, meaningful intelligence.Key Responsibilities:* Architecture and Migration Approach:* Design and implement a detailed migration plan from Oracle Exadata to Azure Databricks and Snowflake.* Ensure the architecture is optimized for hybrid cloud environments, considering both performance and cost-effectiveness.* ETL Process Transition:* Lead the transition of ETL pipelines from Oracle Data Integrator to Informatica, ensuring minimal disruption and data integrity.* Develop strategies for integrating Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) into the new architecture.* Cloud Services Integration and Management:* Expertly manage the integration of Azure cloud services, ensuring seamless data flow and storage between Azure Databricks, Snowflake, and other cloud components.* Implement and oversee cloud-based solutions, ensuring they meet scalability, performance, and security standards.* Technical Leadership and Strategy:* Provide technical direction to a team focused on this migration.* Collaborate with stakeholders to align the migration strategy with business goals and timelines.* DevOps and CI/CD Practices:* Implement DevOps methodologies and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Github, tailored to support the migration process and ongoing data operations.* Continuously assess and optimize these processes for efficiency and reliability.* Performance Optimization and NFR Compliance:* Ensure the new system adheres to non-functional requirements, including disaster recovery planning, data security, and performance optimization.* Regularly review and adjust the architecture to meet evolving business needs and technology trends.Required Skills and Qualifications:* Extensive experience in large-scale data migrations, specifically from Oracle Exadata to Azure-based cloud solutions.* Proficiency in ETL processes, with a focus on Informatica.* Deep understanding of data architecture on Azure, particularly Azure Databricks and Snowflake.* Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) experience* Demonstrated experience with DevOps practices and tools.* Strong strategic planning, problem-solving, and leadership skills.* Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.#LI-EF1#CB#Ind123Salary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $[132,861-147,626] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
