　　Job Summary:

　　Raytheon is looking for a candidate to join our world-class team as a Senior Software Engineer/Full-Stack Java Developer. In this role, you will use your solid foundation in Java and experience working in a Linux environment to comprehend customer needs and translate those needs into viable design solutions.

　　This position is located onsite in Richardson, Texas (Cityline)

　　Responsibilities to Anticipate:

　　Opportunity to use your understanding of software principles, theories, and concepts related to software engineering (including software development lifecycle and software development process), design patterns, and Object Oriented architecture.

　　Demonstrate your critical thinking skills with the ability to communicate concepts and ideas well.

　　Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance and pass polygraph within 1 year of starting.

　　Basic Qualifications:

　　Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and five (5) years of engineering experience.

　　5+ years’ experience in software development.

　　3+ years’ experience developing complex applications with Java.

　　Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps toolsets (e.g. Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, etc.)

　　The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

　　Preferred Qualifications:

　　Active TS/SCI with CI polygraph.

　　Security+ Certification.

　　Experience troubleshooting and resolving system anomalies and discrepancy reports.

　　Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

　　Experience with Agile development methodologies.

　　Experience with DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.

　　Experience with AWS Cloud Technologies.

　　Proven problem solving and analytical abilities.

　　The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
