　　Job Summary and Qualifications

　　Our Imaging Teams are a committed, caring group of colleagues. We are seeking an MRI Tech. As our new MRI Technologist, you will provide magnetic resonance imaging services to a variety of patients. You will perform procedures in a careful, compassionate and respectful manner. If you are dedicated to caring for the well-being of others, this could be your next opportunity.

　　Your tasks and responsibilities may include:

　　You will perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging Procedures with a high degree of quality.

　　You will prepare and position patients and equipment with care.

　　You will complete a full patient history. You will also obtain informed consent.

　　You will with care and compassion, explain all procedures being performed.

　　You will maintain clear effective communication with Radiologists ad other team members.

　　You will follow established standards and practices under the direction of a Radiologist.

　　Qualifications:

　　Graduate of a two year AMA approved School of Radiology

　　Associate Degree

　　Registered Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferred.

　　Licensed Radiologic Technologist, State of Florida

　　One year (preferred).

　　Lifting 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.

　　HCA Florida Blake Hospital is a 383 bed hospital. We are located in Bradenton, FL. We have a thirteen acre campus by the Gulf Coast beaches. We are the only state-designated Level II trauma center in Manatee, Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. We have received verification by the American College of Surgeons. Our services include 24-hour emergency care, open-heart surgery, burn care, cancer care, joint replacement and inpatient rehabilitation.
