Our Next Gen RF Sensors team is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Ft. Wayne, IN.
Typical job functions for Senior Software Engineer include:
Participation on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams, often employing agile software development techniques and resources to plan, design, develop, test, and integrate complex software and systems solutions.
Responsible for some or all of a Software product, contributing as a software team member and possibly instructing a small software team.
Responsibilities spanning the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support.
Work onsite at Fort Wayne, IN
Must be able to maintain DoD SECRET Clearance and get program special access as needed.

Basic Requirements include:
Minimum of 5 years of relevant software development experience
Experience with C++, C, Java or similar
Experience working on Red Hat Linux or equivalent OS
Experience in all phases of SDLC
Able to acquire DoD Secret Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
A Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant software development experience.
Highly Preferred Skills:
Current/Active Secret Clearance
Experience with Agile lifecycle process including Scrum, Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development Methodologies
Experience with UNIX, Linux, VxWorks, INTEGRITY, SYSBIOS, or other RTOS
Experience with design, code, integration, and test of large systems
Experience developing embedded software for sensors, algorithm development, signal or data processing preferred.

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
