SUMMARY:
**
Under general direction, handle the administration of all Leave of Absence (LOA), Paid Time Off (PTO) and Paid Sick Leave policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state and municipal laws.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administer the day to day activities of the Firm's leave programs by interpreting policy and synchronizing with applicable federal/state/municipal laws (FMLA, ADA, USERRA, Pregnancy Discrimination Act, Mandatory Paid Sick Leave, etc.).
Assist with the development and implementation of the leave of absence programs and policies in accordance with required regulations. Ensure all systems/websites are updated timely. Create communications and training regarding leave administration and deliver to all corporate and field partners and employees.
Provide consultative services to corporate and field partners and employees related to all leave policies and paid-time off.
Review leave documentation to assign appropriate leave, work closely with employees to ensure all relevant documentation is submitted timely, maintain contact with employees on leave, and coordinate all aspects of return to work.
Identifies, communicates and collects benefit premiums from employees on leave to continue coverage while on unpaid leave of absence.
Respond to and coordinate requests for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Act as a liaison with vendors for plan guidance and issue resolution. Maintain ongoing relationships with benefit vendors to ensure high quality delivery of benefit services.
Mentor and serve as the escalation point for Benefits Specialists, assisting with day to day, benefit questions, processes, and issue resolutions.
Monitor changes to laws to identify and resolve potential areas of exposure and/or noncompliance and apprise management of new mandates or areas of risk.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor s degree and 5 years in Human Resources, Benefits, and Leave Management (LOA, PTO, Sick leave, FMLA, STD, etc.) or the equivalent combination of education and experience required.
5 years experience with disability7 and leave compliance (Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), paid family leave plans, statutory leaves, other LOA policies, PTO and paid sick leave) required.
CERTIFICATES AND/OR LICENSES:
Certification in Human Resources or Benefits preferred.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
