We are offering an opportunity for an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the non-profit sector, located in Bethpage, New York. The role primarily involves finance and accounting work with a strong emphasis on proficiency in Microsoft Excel, spreadsheets, and data management.

Responsibilities:

• Execute finance and accounting tasks with precision and attention to detail

• Leverage Microsoft Excel and other tools for analytics and data management

• Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing and manipulating data

• Ability to manage and organise spreadsheets effectively

• Knowledge and experience in accounting functions is required

• Experience in a non-profit environment is desirable but not mandatory

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with different stakeholders

• Familiarity with accounting software would be advantageous.
