  The OHAI Patient Accounting Team is responsible for delivering the next generation healthcare financial management applications for healthcare providers. We are seeking to transform healthcare by providing technology solutions that fully automate insurance and patient billing, maximizing our customers’ revenue, while providing a first-class patient consumer experience. Our solutions are a combination of modernized enterprise applications and cloud native services, all running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.   What?

  We are seeking a hands-on Senior Member of Technical Staff that shares our passion and excitement of operating distributed systems at hyper scale using cloud native best practices. You will take part in the disruption of the health care industry and will help deliver a better patient experience.

  As an engineer on our team, you’ll be responsible for building scalable, distributed, and resilient software components and services to support health care platform, applications, and our end users. We believe in ownership and expect you to think long term, mentor, and empower other engineers. As a senior member you will be involved in the complete SDLC from architecture, development, testing, first class monitoring, to production.

  Minimum Qualifications

  BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent

  3-5 years of developing and shipping enterprise distributed and/or cloud native systems

  Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices

  Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java, JavaScript, SQL

  Experience with application development using microservices frameworks such as Spring

  Experience with Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology experience, Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development

  Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative and energetic environments

  Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects

  Preferred Qualifications

  Experience with healthcare / financial systems.

  Experience developing enterprise level applications

  Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

  US: Hiring Range: from $74,800 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

  Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

  Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

  11 paid holidays

  Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
