DUTIES: Siemens Medical Solutions USA, Inc. seeks a Senior Research Scientist in Princeton, New Jersey. Research, design and implement AI based algorithms for cardiovascular applications, for instance, for imagebased diagnostics, disease detection, treatment triage etc. Advance state-of-the-art development, including generating patents and publications in top journals and conferences. Support the development of prototypes to demonstrate the performance of the new algorithms, from specification to implementation to validation. Support feasibility studies, in collaboration with Siemens Healthineers business lines and clinical partners. Work with customers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in the development of internal project proposals or government grants, from ideation to planning. Mentor intern students, create internship training plan and provide technical guidance.REQUIREMENTS: The position requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Math or related field and one (1) year of experience as a Research Scientist, Engineering Intern or related role.
