Lake Superior Consulting is seeking a Corrosion Engineering Supervisor to join our team! The Corrosion Engineering Supervisor will be responsible for building the Corrosion Engineering business unit by leading a team of engineers in executing various client projects. This person will have a high level of involvement with developing the team's professional skills and technical knowledge related to the design of corrosion mitigation focused on Cathodic Protection and AC Mitigation systems. This individual will work closely with the Director to set and achieve objectives and financial targets in alignment with the Integrity Management Team. Responsibilities: Assign projects to team members that align with their strengths, knowledge, and growth plans. Ensure team is following and executing projects in alignment with RACI (latest version). Responsible for overall utilization of direct team with respect to company goals. Review monthly P&L to ensure financial targets can be achieved. In concert with Director establish monthly revenue targets for the Corrosion Engineering team and monitor to help ensure achievement. Monitor monthly project progress to ensure customer satisfaction, quality and achievement of project profit targets. Provide mentorship and leadership to direct reports. Review and approve weekly time and expense sheets, working with project managers to ensure accuracy. May be required to manage or lead projects and may give guidance to junior professionals or technicians working on a common project. Conduct annual performance reviews for direct reports. Participate in hiring new employees. Ensure direct reports comply with company policies. Proactively deal with personnel issues that arise. Develop employee growth and training goals. Strong understanding of Cathodic Protection and AC Mitigation. Work closely with employees to ensure they align with the goals of the IM team and the overall organization. Responsible for ongoing communication with management, including timely identification of issues that may impact your team or the organization. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline. 3 years of relevant experience. AMPP CP3 certification preferred and willing to achieve CP4. Strong technical knowledge in Cathodic Protection and AC Mitigation. PE licensure or ability to pursue licensure preferred. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to dissect problems and quickly develop solutions. Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Access. Ability to travel, up to 25%. Oil & gas pipeline or related industry experience a plus.
