Reference #: 124986-1As a Senior QA Engineer (Performance Tester), you will be a key member of the Product Engineering team driving improvements in our products' performance, scalability and reliability. You will work within our agile software development process, certify products for release readiness for performance, scalability and reliability, and carry out performance benchmarking for our products & services globally.

　　The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in performance testing & engineering in enterprise software platforms and applications. The candidate should have experience in architecting and driving complex performance testing/engineering projects that measure the characteristics of systems running under dynamic, real-world workloads.

　　About You - experience, education, skills, and accomplishmentsMinimum 3 years of Performance Testing and Engineering experience including hands-on technical skills and experience in developing performance testing strategies, performance testing processes and methodologies.At least 3 years of experience with various samplers/protocols JMeter or other tools along with concurrency, arrival rate and scheduling.At least 3 years' experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Python or C#.At least 3 years' experience working within and dynamically scaling a cloud-based environment such as AWS.Bachelor's degree in computer science, or any other related field.

　　It would be great if you also had . . .Experience in building the right performance environment data sets and using data virtualization tools where required.Experience with Performance testing and engineering concepts in System level, UI, Java Applications and DB.Ability to carry out root cause analysis of complex performance issues, analyze results and recommend solutions.Performance tuning experience with RDBMS (Postgres) is desirable.Experience working with ElasticSearch or OpenSearch.History of continually learning and adapting to the latest trends and technology.

　　What will you be doing in this role?Articulate and present performance issues, risks and bottlenecks.Collaborate with fellow Software Engineers, Business Analysts and Product Owners to design performance test strategy and keep it up to date.Design and build performance test scripts and scenarios.Identity and troubleshoot performance issues in collaboration with development teams. Performs root cause analysis and drives issues to appropriate resolutions.Develop and improve performance test integration in the CI/CD pipeline.Contribute to the Confluence Knowledge base.Tasks planning for a small perf team.Conducts code reviews of performance code
