The Construction and Engineering Global Business Unit (CEGBU) of Oracle is the world’s leading project and portfolio management software organization. This QA Engineer role is focused on ETL data quality as well as working on Apex applications and Oracle Analytics Cloud. Our QA engineers have strong SQL and PLSQL backgrounds and specialize in ETL automation and data verification. Along with these data aspects you will also work with data coming from ML and AI models. This will give you an opportunity to dive deeper into the ML world. Since our products are deployed using Apex applications and Oracle Analytics Cloud you will also have application opportunities and the change to work on analytical data modeling.

Working as part of a development team, you will be called upon to analyze problems, suggest and assess multiple alternative solutions, and develop high-quality industry leading software.

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, is required.

The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment is essential. Ideal candidates have a passion for the software development field and actively stay on top of technology trends and best practices. Ability to quickly grasp and communicate technical, business, and design information is preferred.

We require the candidate to perform the following:

building out test plans and validating against requirements and working side by side with developers in an agile process

working with many different automation tools and determining which tool is appropriate for the problem at hand

working with other QA Engineers on overall concepts, approaches, and goals

work on helping diagnose and resolve customer issues

Job Qualifications

Strong Oracle database background

Extensive experience in ETL development

Experience with Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse.

Strong Linux background

Work in Virtualized Environments (Oracle);

Test tools (JIRA, Selenium, TestRail, JENKINS);

Experience testing Cloud Application

US: Hiring Range: from $81,500 to $178,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
