Description:

　　Assist in monthly accounting close process for eight sets of books including recordation of monthly corporate operational activity

　　Monthly preparation of schedules to support the balance sheet and income recordation

　　Record management fee income, asset management fee income and ancillary income monthly.

　　Process payroll wires semi-monthly and initiate reimbursements from properties via intercompany transactions

　　Maintain fixed assets, calculate and record monthly depreciation and amortization expense

　　Review, reconcile and record monthly activity from the corporate American Express card purchases

　　Review and record monthly health insurance and other benefit payments

　　Record month activity for the Company’s airplane and prepare and analyze detail data related to the airplane’s use

　　Record monthly accrued liabilities

　　Record monthly G&A expenses such as rent, CAM/Tax, utilities and other operating expenses

　　Monthly comparison of income and expenses to budget with follow up and explanations for significant variances

　　Read tenant ledgers, understand how payments are applied

　　Maintain General Ledger

　　Skills:

　　Excel, consolidations, property accounting, reporting, accounting, finance, month close, month end, year end, quarter end, financial staements, general ledger, accrual, assets, liabilities, variance analysis, opex, fixed assets, depreciation scheudles

　　Additional Skills & Qualifications:

　　CPA (nice to have)

　　5+ years of Accounting Experience

　　Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics - must have 300 level accounting courses

　　public accounting
