  Job Description:

  As a Senior Project Manager for the Regional Program, you will be performing project management for transportat io n engineering within the Department Transportation.

  Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  The management, development, and delivery of MaineDOT's infrastructure for a significant number and variety of moderately complex, public capital improvement projects statewide,\

  LCP & LCPP Programs

  State Aid Construction Liaison with M&O

  Manage certain aspects of CHIP projects, depending on treatment type.

  Maintaining project budgets and allocating resources,

  Authorizing, monitoring, and controlling expenditures,

  Making project adjustments,

  Authoring work by state forces, vendors, consultants, and contractors, and,

  Supervising professional engineers and professional/technical staff members who perform engineering related work and activities.

  To be minimally qualified for this position candidates must provide evidence of the following experience:

  Registered as a Professional Engineer and at least one (1) year of project management experience at the professional level -OR- 12 years of technical engineering experience with at least three years of project management experience.

  Retirement Plan – The State of Maine contributes 13.41% for MSEA positions and18.21% for Confidentialpositions, of employee’s pay to the Maine Public Employees Retirement System (MainePERS), on behalf of the employee.

  Gym Membership Reimbursement – Improve overall health with regular exercise and receive up to $40 per month to offset this expense.

  Health and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts – Set aside money pre-tax to help pay for out-of-pocket health care expenses and/or daycare expenses.
