About Senior Product Manager , EU Marketplace Pricing

  Description

  Do you want to help +500K Selling Partners price over 100MM ASIN’s and delight customers with sharp and competitive prices across 70% of Amazon EU GV’s?

  Amazon’s EU Marketplace Pricing team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to define, organize and execute our pricing roadmap, to ensure Amazon’s customers get a great price on our entire selection while also helping our Selling Partners grow their business.

  This role requires sound business judgment and an ability to think strategically in a quick-paced, ambiguous setting. You will simultaneously dive deep into the tactical details of each initiative leveraging your exceptional data analytics skills, as well as set a broad strategic vision for execution and scale, partnering with cross-functional teams (product and program management, business intelligence, software engineers, sales,) across the globe.

  Successful candidates will enjoy diving deep into data, have outstanding analytical skills, excellent communication strategies and confident with executive level reviews.

  This role can be based from one of our corporate office locations in Luxembourg, London, Milan, Berlin, Munich, Madrid, Paris

  Key job responsibilities

  Dive Deep and Analyze each EU Marketplace, Product Family and our extensive suite of 3P Pricing tools to identify patterns and behaviour that impact Pricing CX & SX.

  Work with partner teams to expand our competitive intelligence signals, understanding how competitors’ price across our selection.

  Prioritize top defects and opportunities and work backwards to build a roadmap to solve or maximize their potential.

  Work with WW Product Owners, Tech teams, Category teams, Economists, Scientists and Seller Facing teams to build new initiatives that drive sharper prices while fueling outsized growth for our Selling Partners.

  Explore new spaces and unstructured and ambiguous problem areas, building out our next set of big bets.

  Gain support for your strategy and roadmap from stakeholders by writing narratives and influencing peers and senior leadership.

  Create program goals and related metrics, track progress and manage through obstacles to achieve your objectives.

  Collaborate with business, product and engineering teams WW, to define, scope, schedule, test and deploy prioritized projects.

  We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

  Luxembourg, LUX

  Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, statistics, economics, business and/or relevant field of study.

  • Numerous years of Product Management, Finance, Statistics, Analytics or Consulting roles that have included extensive quantitative analysis.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including an ability to communicate with cross functional teams (technical and business) and senior stakeholders.

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel and statistical analysis tools.

  Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.

  • Core Program and Project Management skills (regular updates, Program flashes, data audits, review meetings, process audits).

  • Demonstrated experience in leading analysis, customer segmentation, and/or product behavior analysis.

  • Pricing Experience within Amazon.

  • An inherent learn and be curious nature, willing to jump into unexplored topics.
