  Job Description:

  Responsible for supporting the Issue Management function for the Consumer Banking Business Risk (BRIC) team. Monitors progress of issues and escalates blockers. Responsible for planning, directing, executing, and coordinating activities to ensure compliance with business risk and internal control requirements. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management.

  Responsibilities

  Supports effective challenge and escalation in the issue management process including: Issue Entry, Root Cause Analysis, Action Planning, Validation and Closure.Provides reporting of issue management to CB business executive team and leadership to track and manage progress and drive maturation of issue management process.Maintains tracking of remediation efforts related to review findings.Partners with first and second lines of defense to ensure all standards and policies created are well executed by the business.Identifies and drives improvement efforts to increase control effectiveness.Engages with the business on risk and control initiatives. Educates the business on proactively managing risk and controls.Reviews operational practices, policies, and procedures to ensure adequacy of controls and compliance with laws and regulations.Conducts business risk and control assessments to ensure compliance with regulations.Ensures emerging requirements and risks are addressed.

  Minimum Qualifications

  At a minimum, here's what we need from you:

  Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Liberal Arts, or related field8+ years of experience in Compliance, Operations Management, Audit, Risk Management, or related fieldIn lieu of a degree, 10+ years of experience in Compliance, Operations Management, Audit, Risk Management, or related field

  Compensation:

  The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
