Description

　　Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to join their team. You will design, implement, and maintain business intelligence and analytics solutions, delivering valuable insights for our business using Power BI and MSSQL. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in data analysis, Power BI development, and able to work effectively within cross-functional teams, demonstrating superb communication and problem-solving skills. This contract role will be 100% on site in Hoffman Estates, IL.

　　Requirements

　　Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Senior Power BI Developer.

　　High proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Analysis Services, and Microsoft SQL Server.

　　Practical experience in data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling using R or Python libraries within Power BI Desktop.

　　Deep understanding of ETL solutions, including SSIS, data warehousing, and data architecture.

　　Knowledge of Visual Studio 2019 using SSDT, SQL Server Management Studio, Azure Data Studio, DAX Studio, and Tabular Editor.

　　Experience with GIT or SVN for database schema changes and deployments.

　　Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technical discipline. Microsoft developer certifications in Power BI are preferred.

　　Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

　　Strategic thinking, including strong analytical capability and a solution-oriented outlook.
