We are a forward-thinking company focused on delivering high-quality products and services, and we're looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and organized accounting professional who thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Responsibilties include month-end close, journal entries, reconcilations, and cash flow forecasting.

salary: $70,000 - $80,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Bachelors

Responsibilities

Reviewing contracts and payment applications submitted by the commercial team

Submitting payment requests to suppliers in the banking system

Reconciling customer payments received with outstanding bills

Recording journal entries for purchase and sales transactions

Liaising with the commercial team to understand transaction flows and cargo schedules for accurate accounting treatment

Coordinating with banks and customers/suppliers to manage Letters of Credit (LCs) by collecting from customers and issuing to suppliers

Preparing LC tender documents promptly and delivering them to the bank

Recording office expenses

Conducting monthly inventory counts and an annual fixed asset count

Processing accounting entries for fixed assets

Preparing monthly cash flow forecasts for the headquarters finance team

Compiling business analysis schedules for monthly reporting to headquarters

Assisting with auditor requests for financial information

Supporting the Financial Director with various ad hoc department tasks
