　　AWS PSA (Partner Solutions Architects) in many ways act as a strategic “keystone” bringing together several distinct groups within AWS that support AWS partners. This is a high visibility role where you collaborate with, and influence, both external stakeholders (AWS partner) and internal AWS teams like sales and service engineering. Moreover, you can be part of a team that is redefining the Enterprise IT industry. Amazon Web Services (AWS) is leading the next paradigm shift in cloud computing and is looking for an experienced solution architect for the role of a Sr. Specialist PSA in the AWS Partner Organization.

　　Through this role you

　　• Will become a trusted AWS Technology Architect helping to develop and deliver on a migration strategy to support organizations as they transition to the cloud working with key strategic, global consulting partners.

　　• Will partner with Partner Development Managers and other internal stakeholders, to build technical strategy for respective partner’s business plan.

　　• Contribute to revenue growth across a broad set of customers by identifying and closing large-scale IT Outsourcing renewals with the partners

　　• Collaborate with commercials, presales, service engineering and delivery teams.

　　In this role, you will need to be technically capable, enjoy learning and introducing new technology in order to help colleagues and customers embrace and adopt that technology, and be skilled at communicating technology strategies to customers in order to help colleagues and customers embrace and adopt new technologies. You will also need to be proficient at interacting, communicating and partnering with other departments within AWS such as our services teams, marketing, and professional services.

　　Position may require traveling (roughly 25%) to meet partners and customers.

　　Experience related points below or similar, will be beneficial for the this role -

　　• Direct customer interaction experience across technical stakeholders (hands-on / mid-management / CxO ) and business stakeholders, for technical solution related discussions.

　　• Experience of multi-year IT outsourcing deals as presales / solutions architect, comprising of multiple technical domains (ex: Compute, Databases, Analytics, Storage, Security, Networks)

　　• Expert level Technical proficiency / Subject Matter Expert in one or more technology domains.

　　• Industry Certifications on respective technical domains

　　• Knowledge / Certification of enterprise architecture frameworks

　　Key job responsibilities

　　• Ensure success in building and migrating applications, software and services on AWS

　　• Build repeatable mechanisms, architectures, solutions, and playbooks to enable faster, cheaper, predictable, and risk-free workload migrations to AWS

　　• Define and execute on the technology migration strategy by engaging highly technical teams within AWS (other Solutions Architects, Technical Account Managers, professional services consultants and consulting/managed services partners) to define migration pathways.

　　• Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community

　　• Guide and motivate the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices

　　• Share customer feedback to internal product management and engineering teams to help drive the future of AWS

　　• Work with the team to drive proof-of-concepts to completion

　　• Work with the team to organize technical

　　workshops and facilitate the sharing of knowledge across teams

　　• Build deep relationships with decision makers within customer accounts to enable them to be “Cloud advocates”

　　• Strategy & Innovation: articulate business/industry fundamentals (e.g., ROI, TCO, cost benefit analysis); understand regulations and operational excellence; familiarity with business strategy and trends in the IT industry (e.g., CI/CD, Migration, AI…etc.)

　　• Technology Breadth: demonstrate architectural best practices applied across a breadth of technologies to solve organizational problems, articulate views/roadmaps for future development, and understand the interaction between infrastructure, operations, and development

　　About the team

　　This role will be a part of AWS Partner facing Specialist Solutions Architect with expert level domain knowledge to lead expert to expert discussions by themselves.

　　We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

　　Bengaluru, KA, IND

　　Basic Qualifications

　　8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

　　3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

　　10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

　　Preferred Qualifications

　　5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience

　　Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs

　　Experience working with end user or developer communities
