Turn 10 Studios, the creators of the top-selling and critically acclaimed Forza franchise, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Partner Manager.
Turn 10’s Partner team is focused on securing, managing, and maintaining a third-party Partner portfolio that provides excitement, in-game content, marketing & promotional activation, co-branded experiences, and selected strategic inbound/outbound license deals. We leverage our partners to support and drive the growing Forza franchise across geographies, audience types, and Forza products. Our partner types cover a wide range – including automobile manufacturers, automotive ecosystem partners, major entertainment brands, other gaming franchise & brands, and major consumer brands.
We are looking for a strategic thought leader who can plan, negotiate, source and drive integration models by going beyond the obvious in opportunity explorations, while looking through a global lens. We are looking for a unique blend of sales, business development, partnership, and strategy experience.
Responsibilities
Will lead and manage all aspects of the partner life cycle, from ideation, market analysis, value determination, sourcing, structuring, executing, and post launch activations. This role will focus on establishing framework and building relationships with international media, consumer, entertainment, and automotive brands, creating scalable and repeatable programs to drive clear value.
Source -Act as an evangelist and bring awareness of Turn 10 representing the studio and our titles at partner and/or public events. Help educate partner executives about the value of Forza partnerships. Create and present partner pitches to attract new interest and entrance into unrealized verticals.
Execute – Create and “sell in” consolidated strategic partner roadmaps to gain consensus across various stakeholders and teams (marketing, Product, Community, Licensing...) on launch timelines and resource commitments.
Measure – Prioritize and report on key business metrics to measure and guide internal/partner teams. Provide reporting on partners health, completed activations and other partner engagements through defined KPI’s to multiple teams across the studio as well as our partners networks to drive further engagement and shape future activities.
Analyze industry trends and research to create further opportunities within our existing partner portfolio to create beats around key milestones and opportunistic moments. Find ways to strengthen partnerships with richer integrations and unique types of content across existing and new territories.
Will drive internal communication on industry trends, sourcing results and partner roadmaps. Internal communication will also include building business cases to show overall value and potential of partnerships to drive consensus on engagements and provide visibility to all relevant teams.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
OR equivalent experience.
3+ years experience sourcing, incubating and driving value-based partnerships
3+ years experience working with or for a global media and consumer brands
Preferred qualifications
4+ years of experience in one of these supporting disciplines – partner management, business development, partner marketing or product evangelism
Experience working with business cases and legal agreements
Experience with licensed content
Ability to collaborate in a matrixed environment with various teams (Product, Marketing, Business, Legal..) to drive projects to conclusion
Experience successfully closing a variety partner deals and structures.
Experience building and methodically assessing a portfolio of potential opportunities.
Ability to think strategically and analytically to identify potential value of partnerships.
Comfort framing opportunities, socializing the value internally, and influencing a diverse set of stakeholders to agreement.
Experience working with large scale international partners, regionally based teams, and the ability to asses geographically specific needs
Preference for candidates who can work internationally, whether in-person or by phone or email on programs.
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
