About Senior Mechanical Engineer

  As a Senior Mechanical Engineer with us, you're not just another team member; you're a vital force driving the technical feedback and direction of our product concepts. In this collaborative role, you'll apply your extensive knowledge of engineering principles and physical sciences to bolster our engineering activities. Together, we'll work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, and Life Cycle Service, ensuring that every project reflects our commitment to excellence.

We'll rely on your expertise to conceptualize ideas, technically evaluate feasible concepts, test prototypes, and iterate designs based on real-world feedback. We're excited to see you lead your projects through their entire lifecycle, from initial sparks of creativity to final stages of production, which could last from a few weeks to several months.

  In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  Together, we'll implement product enhancements and design changes, navigating through the ECO process with precision and care!

  We'll rely on your technical expertise to support the manufacturing process, ensuring every production line setup is optimal and every quality control standard is exceeded.

  Join us in developing our diverse product portfolio, which includes mechanical, electrical, and control systems aspects. Your insight will be invaluable!

  You'll bring a proven understanding of DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance stack-up, guiding us toward engineering precision.

  Your familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis will propel our projects to new heights.

  Provide essential technical guidance to configuration engineers for Configure-To-Order requests, ensuring every customer need is met with precision.

  Lead the charge in conducting tests, experiments, and simulations to validate design concepts and enhance performance.

  Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying and resolving technical issues in electric valve actuators, optimizing performance every step of the way.

  Together, we'll identify design for manufacturability, product enhancement, and cost reduction opportunities, always striving for efficiency and innovation.

  Your engineering assistance will be vital in addressing raised production issues, ensuring smooth operations at all times.

  Crafting and maintaining clear work instructions will be part of your role, guiding future projects toward success.

  For This Role, You Will Need:

  B.S. degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering and 5 years of related experience

  Knowledge of global standards (API, ISO, ASTM, ASME, etc.)

  Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  Master’s degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering

  Familiar with Hazardous Location Certifications (ATEX, IECEx, CSA etc.)

  Familiar with mechanical engineering design calculation on fastener, seal, structural, gear, motor, bearing, powder metallurgy, spring, casting, injection molding, and etc.

  Experience with Actuator, Oil & Gas, Valve, Pump or other Process industry mechanical component is plus.

  Experience with 3D CAD systems, preferably Solid Edge is a plus
