  DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:POSITION SUMMARYThe Senior Manager Retirement Plan Strategy works with the Corporate Director, U.S. Benefits to develop, manage and communicate AMETEK's strategy and direction on all U.S. qualified and nonqualified defined contribution and legacy defined benefit retirement plans. Responsibilities cover planning and implementing the organization's overall fiduciary strategy to ensure the organization presents a professional, consistent voice to all stakeholders, including employees, prospective employees, and former employees.

  Position Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:* Plan, develop, and execute retirement plan strategies for the U.S. organization including corporate and Business Units.* Provide guidance and counsel to executive management including written, spoken, briefing materials, relationship management, and long-term vision for retirement plan strategy.* Manage governance, compliance and fiduciary strategy for all U.S. retirement plans.* Manage relationships with key retirement plan vendors including external ERISA counsel, investment advisors, actuaries and administrators.* Manage U.S.-related vendor RFP and implementation efforts as needed.* Oversee billing processes for retirement plans and retirement plan vendors.* Advise management on legislative changes affecting retirement plan strategy.* Oversee the development and distribution of retirement plan communications.* Lead compliance efforts in Merger and Acquisitions.* Track progress and results, and regularly analyze and report on retirement plan strategy.* Educate and mentor team members about retirement plans

  REQUIREMENTS:* BA in HR, Business Administration or equivalent* 10+ years related experience* Understanding of benefit plan concepts, funding and administration* Knowledge of legal environment ERISA, IRS and application of laws
