　　Overview

　　Working independently or with minimal supervision, perform custodial and grounds maintenance work for Tresco Works small contracts.   

　　Responsibilities

　　This position requires the employee to operate a computer and required software effectively and efficiently including typing, navigation, and interpretation of electronic data.

　　Perform janitorial and grounds maintenance duties per contract schedule, requirements, and standards to include:

　　            a. Clean/supply restrooms

　　                        b. Clean drinking fountains

　　            c. Clean and disinfect toilets

　　            d. De-scaling

　　            e. Empty trash receptacles and replace trash liners

　　            f. Sweep floors

　　            g. Vacuum cleaning

　　            h. Spot cleaning

　　            i. Spray/buff floors

　　            j. Wet mop floors

　　            k. Interior/exterior window cleaning

　　            l. Prune shrubs and trees

　　            m. Sweep sidewalks

　　            n. Water and fertilize plants as needed.

　　            o. Maintain gates, fencing, and exterior lighting

　　            p. Snow removal from building walkways

　　            q. Mow grass

　　            r. Use a weed eater to remove weed growth

　　            s. Remove graffiti at work site, up to and including sanding, using filler, and painting

　　Accept and implement special projects as assigned by supervisor.

　　ADDITIONAL DUTIES.   Other job-related duties as assigned.  

　　Qualifications

　　Education .  High school/GED  

　　  Experience .  Desire to learn custodial and grounds maintenance tasks.      

　　Licenses/Certifications .  Valid driver’s license. 

　　  Other (e.g., post-offer drug screen, background check, driver’s license record, etc.) .  All employees must undergo a driver’s license record check; classified employees must pass a background check.            

　　KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED BY THE POSITION:

　　Ability to work under stressful situations

　　Ability to work independently and in a team setting.

　　Ability to work outdoor regularly.
