Core Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management - Ensure a high degree of satisfaction and motivation among employees; Navigate in a distributed team in a global environment. Foster positive collaboration with PMD and sister departments in R&D Processing and ensure we aim towards the same goals; Create the right frames and prioritize with the team to deliver outstanding solutions to global production.
Drive development and execution of new processing platform equipment - Ensure effective and efficient delivery of new processing Platform Projects that meets the demands of both design organization and production.
Drive our Processing Platform portfolio - Ensure needed frame management and prioritization of all requests from Technology Innovation and other input providers in processing and productions; Responsible for technical complexity management and Value creation in the portfolio; Ensure proper handovers and implementation after development of first production setup.

Processing Platform Development owns the development and preparation of implementation of new processing platforms in the LEGO Group. This responsibility includes cooperating with Technology Innovation, other processing departments as well as the global manufacturing sites.
The role as Senior Manager is supporting our ability to provide the most effective production platforms within Processing equipment, leading a team of 9 employees, located in Billund - the team consists of Project Managers and Equipment Developers (Mechanical Engineers).
Do you have what it takes
The right candidate has a technical background, e.g. within production, engineering or the similar supplemented with leadership experience. Has outstanding collaboration skills and proactive demeanor, boosting connection with others, curious and experienced in working in a diverse team. You also have:
Formal leadership experience within the field of technical development of production equipment, i.e. you are a proficient leader with rich leadership toolbox -coaching approach - can engage and motivate a team to follow you.
Experience with engineering functions and equipment development value chains.
Have a strong curiosity towards machines design, manufacturing processes and technical solutions.
