  Job Description

  The Global Senior Product Manager, Urology will be the primary global marketing leader and subject matter expert for a critical product category within the Global Urology business unit. This individual will own financial performance & portfolio strategy for the product category while identifying & driving global expansion opportunities across the portfolio in close partnership with region commercial teams around the world.

  Job Duties

  Serve as global marketing lead for a crucial business segment within Stone Management segment of the Global Urology Business Unit

  Serve as global product management lead for a portfolio of products that fall within the business segment and the team’s scope of responsibility.

  Derive a deep understanding of customer requirements / user needs through formal market research and procedural expertise.

  Collaborate with region commercial teams to ensure that sellers around the world have clear, consistent, evidence-backed messaging and the tools/programs they need to clearly communicate value propositions to theircustomers.

  Collaborate with global supply chain, manufacturing, and external suppliers to ensure accurate forecasting &strong product supply.

  Devise the portfolio strategy to ensure sustainable growth and long-term market leadership and collaborate with internal & external partners to execute programs to expand & optimize the product offering.

  Plan & execute lifecycle management activities to ensure appropriate balance between launch of new products& obsolescence of older offerings.

  Identify market expansion opportunities to grow the business segment both in existing and emerging regions/geographies.

  Job Qualification

  Required:

  Bachelor’s degree required with a major in Marketing, Business or related field; MBA preferred.

  Minimum 5 years global marketing or business development experience in the field of medical devices.

  Ability to travel up to 35%

  Preferred:

  Deep understanding of market access tactics and healthcare economic value principles for medical devices.

  Documented and successful experience developing markets for new medical device technologies.

  Excellent interpersonal, written communications and organizational skills.

  The anticipated base pay range for this full-time position working at this location is $129,404.00 - $181,166.00 / year, plus potential for annual bonus (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements). Olympus considers a variety of factors when determining actual compensation for this position including: level of experience, working location, and relevant education and certifications.
