Village Truck Sales is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Equipment Moverto join the team! A CDL Class A Equipment Mover, also known as a CDLDriver or Heavy Equipment Transporter, is responsible for safelyoperating commercial vehicles with a Class A CDL license to transportheavy equipment and machinery between various locations. This rolerequires exceptional driving skills, attention to safety regulations,and the ability to efficiently load, secure, and unload heavy equipment.SHIFT: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday PAY: Based offexperience RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operate commercial vehicles,including tractor-trailers and heavy-duty trucks, in a safe andresponsible manner. - Transport heavy equipment, machinery, and vehiclesto and from construction sites, job sites, dealerships, and otherlocations. - Ensure equipment is securely loaded, properly secured withtie-downs, and safely positioned on the trailer. - Safely load andunload heavy equipment onto and off the trailer, using ramps, winches,and other equipment as necessary. - Ensure proper weight distributionand balance of the load to prevent accidents during transportation. -Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and other teammembers to provide updates on travel progress, delays, and otherrelevant information. - Adhere to federal and state transportationregulations, including Hours of Service (HOS) regulations for drivers.QUALIFICATIONS: - Valid Class A Commercial Driver\'s License (CDL) -Experience preferred but willing to train - Effective communicationskills and the ability to work well within a team.
