Collins Aerospace is looking for a Senior Manager , Supply Chain Cost who will oversee all costing ac tivities for SBU . This is hands on manager role that requires extensive alignment with numerous functions with Collins . You will analyze large amounts of data and implement continuous improvement initiatives. You will manag e direct report s whose primary responsibility is to support the cost savings initiatives and reporting tools. You will pa rticipate in multiple components of major projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
Oversee cost management system and reporting from savings management tool - Direct and Indirect
Input data directly into savings management tool on a Monthly basis to ensure accuracy.
Track Indirect projects monthly to ensure targets are met.
Prepare Supply Chain Product and Non-Product Strategic Financial Plan (SFP) annually.
Prepare and analyze monthly actuals against SFP operating plan for Sr. Leadership.
Manage Cost Reduction process and implement continuous improvements while aligning 4 Strategic Business Units (SBU).
Work with Finance for Cost Reduction activities to gain alignment.
I mplement governance within the cost management process and all BU ’ s are adhering to processes in place.
Prepare annual cost standards and weighted average cost for Supply Chain .
Standards analysis for Budget/Plan and Final
Support financial target initiatives.
Analytical & conceptual thinking skills to l ead c orporate p rojects including s pend i ntelligence p latform t ool
Gather and interpret data, analyze results using analytical techniques and provide ad hoc & ongoing reports and recommendations that respond to dynamic business needs
Act as liaison between Supply Chain and other internal functional teams ( i.e., Corporate Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Supply Chain Commodity and Program Managers)
Define, develop & implement new process improvement opportunities
Assist yearly supplier strategy review preparation
Prepare and validate cost metrics for executive reporting
Travel up 3 0% as required
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience
U.S. citizenship is required , as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
3 - 5 years’ experience in Finance or Analytical data reporting required .
2 or more years of management level experience
2 or more years Project management experience .
2 or more years’ experience c reat ing , present ing , and communicat ing presentations to senior level leadership.
3 - 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office (Macros, Power Pivots, Formulas and Power Point ).
Preferred Qualifications:
3 - 5 years’ experience in manufacturing, finance, or s upply c hain procurement/ purchasing .
2 or more years with SAP
2 or more years applying lean principles and concepts

The salary range for this role is 118,000 USD - 246,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
