The Team
The Fidelity Health Benefits Group supports the recordkeeping and administration of health benefits (medical, dental and vision plans) and life insurance plans on behalf of Fidelity's corporate clients, their employees and retirees. The technology associates on the HCG Platform team interact with business partners as well as systems partners who have responsibility for client-facing channels such as NetBenefits®. The development teams are located across USA and India. This role is based of North Carolina, USA. Team size is 300+ resources across IT and Product. Highly motivated team works completely on Agile Methodology.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be encouraged to contribute to the technical center of excellence and to improve the efficiency and quality of the entire development process within the HCG team.
The Expertise You Have
Bachelor's Degree (Computer Science or related fields)4+ years of professional software development experience in a diverse set of distributed application development and middleware technologies such REST/SOAP Web Services, Java 11 capabilities, SQL, Test Driven Development, Spring modules including IOC, Batch, SpringBoot along with other core components like oauth2 and securityRobust critical thinking skills, coupled with a desire for growth, to learn and engage with peers in technical and design discussionsKnowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operationsExperience working with cloud computing strategies and architecture (Kubernetes, AWS fargate, Amazon EKS, etc)
