This role provides end-to-end financial support of investment decisions relating to the expansion of data center buildings within regions where we are currently delivering AWS services. The successful candidate will work very closely with business partners in determining 10+ year expansion strategies across a growing number of regions. In this role, you will help ensuring that the business has a viable and cost-effective expansion path. We take working hard, having fun, and making history seriously and you should too!Key job responsibilities- Partner with the AWS Infrastructure Business Development team to provide strategic guidance on investments alternatives and deal negotiations for regional expansions- Perform discounted cash flow and P&L financial modeling, often under tight deadlines and lead executive-level discussions. Ensure internal stakeholders (e.g. Real estate, New and Existing Region Portfolio Management, Product teams, Networking, Data Center Engineering, Accounting, Legal, Tax, etc.) are aligned with recommendations- Help prepare and deliver business reviews to senior management teams regarding progress and roadblocks to strategy execution- Provide controllership and oversight of the business.- Understand infrastructure market segments, customer base, and industry verticals and technology trends.
