Senior Financial Accountant
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will perform financial activities like billing, processing monthly financial close, reporting, accounts receivable, processing general ledger entries and reconciling bank statements and balance sheet accounts. This role is an opportunity to work with an experienced team, grow new skills and gain exposure to working with senior leaders. This position is available for a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days working from home. Training will be conducted in the office for the first 30 days.
In this role, you will:
Assist with monthly and semi-monthly financial processes. Performs critical functions for monthly financial reporting. This includes client billing and receivables, project setup, indirect rate variance, asset accounting, financial data validation, administration of cost pools, depreciation, amortization and revenue calculation.Administer timely reviews of financial activity. This includes but is not limited to accounts receivable, revenue, expenses and other general ledger accounts.Perform monthly bank and account reconciliations and investigates any differences. Prepares adjusting entries as needed and works with staff to review and correct any processes that result in reconciling amounts.Prepare documentation and assist as required for annual external and federal audits.Perform miscellaneous duties and special projects as assigned.What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field2-4 years relevant work experience and/or equivalent education plus experience in an accounting environmentAbility to demonstrate knowledge of accounting structure and termsIdeal candidates will have attention to detail, exceptional customer service skills, critical thinking skills and initiative.We are unable to consider candidates outside of the United States, candidates in the state of California, or those in US Minor outlying islands and territories.COMMITMENT TO SAFETY
