KDG Construction Consulting is seeking a Utility Coordinator I to join our Airport Control team. The Utility Coordinator will be responsible for entering information into SharePoint, coordinating and processing utility shutdowns and overseeing the continuous flow of the Utility Shutdown Request Center through the applicable review and approval process. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with high attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively on teams.
This Utility Coordinator I position is located on-site and requires in-person work at the assigned Airport location. This position may be required to work various shifts as needed for office coverage. Remote work is not available.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for entering in detailed information into SharePoint
• Coordinate and process area and utility shutdowns
• Responsible for continuous flow of the Utility Shutdown Request (USR)/Area Shutdown Request (ASR) through the review and approval process
• Maintaining USR/ASR tracking Logs, Status Logs and Master calendar on SharePoint
• Responsible for checking work entered in to ensure information is accurate
• Maintaining and updating all documentation associated with the USR/ASR’s through the review and final approval process
• Send out approval notifications and close out the USR/ASR’s
• Follow up on the status of shutdowns per the contractor’s requests
• Must communicate effectively with Contractors, Project Managers, Technical Groups and other Stakeholders throughout the process using email/phone.
Requirements:
• 3 -7 years of relevant work experience in a similar utility coordination position
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Explorer
• Formal or On-The-Job Training in the following disciplines: Construction Administration, Customer Service or Project Management
• Basic knowledge of construction terminology and processes is HIGHLY desired
• Must be able to work cooperatively with others, and be adaptable to change.
Anticipated Pay Rate: $30- $36 per hour
