Department Summary:
The Senior Principal Division Chief Engineer for Collaboration for the ECIS Global Knowledge & Collaboration
Division will work broadly across all ECIS to insure broad alignment and integration across all aspects of
the ECIS collaboration strategy, plan, innovation, and execution. This critical integration and alignment
role is in support of the ECIS Intelligent Enterprise strategy and vision to enable MITRE to enable.

Develop a strategic plan and roadmap for Collaboration.
Assure technical alignment across Collaboration Transformation Initiatives and ECIS sustainment and Service projects.
Shape the ECIS collaboration work program.
Responsible for the alignment of collaboration technologies and user experience.
Identify innovation opportunities for MITRE collaboration.
Identify opportunities to transition innovation activates and projects to ECIS sustainment and service opportunities.
Work across the whole of MITRE to identify and facilitate the development of innovative, outcome-focused approaches and solutions.
Develop, strengthen and maintain relevant extra-ECIS relationships to identify opportunities and provide timely solutions.
Develop and share external perspective on collaboration tools, hardware, and physical spaces.
Mentor junior staff and actively participate in the ECIS apprentice program; cultivate the ECIS technical career path.
Basic Qualifications:
Active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance
A minimum of 12 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 10 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 7 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
Demonstrated technical leadership.
