Description:

　　Estimate labor and equipment needs, perform thorough and accurate material takeoffs, and solicit for self-performed civil activities.

　　Implement bid strategies, perform risk analysis, and develop bid alternatives/value engineered solutions.

　　Solicit, analyze, and qualify subcontractors on general contracted scopes while identifying and eliminating scope gaps.

　　Prepare bid submission documents including proposal letters, bid breakdowns, work execution plans, and schedules.

　　Breakdown work scopes into individual activities and determine resource needs.

　　Read and understand project scopes, specifications, geotechnical reports, and drawings.

　　Perform basic risk analysis and implement bid strategies that protect the company’s best interest.

　　Implement process improvements to increase efficiency through better work practices pertaining to estimating.

　　Electronically categorize and store information in an organized manner.

　　Travel and attend training, pre-bid, and post-bid meetings as needed.
